Oatmeal Cookies
these are yummy.. chewy on the inside and a lil crunchy around the outside edges. I got this recipe off of my Kroger brand Old Fashioned Oats
Ingredients:
2 C margarine or butter, softened
1 C granulated sugar
1 C brown sugar, firmly packed
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 C all purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
3 C Kroger Oats (uncooked)
1 C nuts, chopped
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
2. Cream butter or margarine and sugars until smooth. beat in eggs and vanilla. Combine and blend thoroughly flour, cinnamon, baking soda and salt. Beat into creamed mixture. Stir in oats and nuts.
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes, makes 6 dozen
** my notes: I make my cookies bigger and also add about 1/4 - 1/2 tsp ground
cloves because I love it.. mine bake a lil longer too

GINA NEELY'S SPICY POTATO WEDGES
RECIPE FOUND HERE
Ingredients
- 3 large russet potatoes, peeled and cut into 8 wedges
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 tablespoons seasoned salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon freshly chopped parsley leaves
- 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan, plus more for garnish
- Salt
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
In a large bowl, toss the potatoes with the melted butter, olive oil, seasoned salt, cayenne, parsley, and 3 tablespoons of the Parmesan.
Arrange in a single layer on 2 sheet trays. Bake until golden brown and crisp, about 45 minutes. Turn the potatoes halfway through the cooking with flat spatula.

Simple and Cheap and hubby LOVES the stuff, he does NOT want to go back to storebought :)

6 oz can tomato paste
1/4 cup honey (or agave)
1/2 cup white vinegar
1/4 cup water
1 tsp sugar
3/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/8 tsp garlic powder
whisk together and serve, store in the refrigerator

Big Batch Cheeseburger Bake

1 1/2 lb (at least 80%) ground beef
1 1/4 cups chopped onions (about 2 large)
1 can (10 3/4 oz) condensed Cheddar cheese soup
1 1/4 cups Green Giant® Valley Fresh Steamers™ frozen mixed vegetables (I used one can of drainedgreen beans )
1/2 cup milk
2 1/3 cups Original Bisquick® mix
2/3 cup water
1 1/3 cups shredded Cheddar cheese (about 5 oz)
1. Heat oven to 375°F. Generously spray bottom and sides of 15x10x1-inch pan with cooking spray. In 12-inch skillet, cook beef and onions over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until beef is thoroughly cooked; drain. Stir in soup, vegetables and milk.
2. In large bowl, stir Bisquick mix and water until moistened. Spread evenly in pan. Spread beef mixture over batter. Sprinkle with cheese.
3. Bake uncovered 35 minutes.
High Altitude (3500-6500 ft): Do not add cheese before
baking . Bake 35 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese; bake about 5 minutes longer or until cheese is melted.

I was making dinner when I realized that I was out of Bisquick, I panicked for a second but then decided to try to find a recipe to make my own, Well here is the recipe I used... Worked PERFECTLY!!

2 Tbsp sugar
1 Tbsp + 1 ½ tsp baking powder
1 c shortening
½ tsp salt
2/3 c powdered milk

Homemade Microwave Popcorn

it works great, the only fault I found is that all the kernels dont pop so there are some wasted but if you are desperate for popcorn DO IT
